DMX started rapping around the end of 1990s. The rapper released his debut album It's Hot as well as Hell is DARK on the 19th of May, 1998. Other albums include... and there was x, the Great Depression Year of the Dog... again The Redemption of the Beast Gran Champ and Flesh of Blood and Flesh. In 2001, his album entitled... And Then There was X was awarded the Grammy nomination in the category Best Rap Album. The success of his music was further enhanced with appearances in movies as Lords of the Street Belly Top Five - Exit Wounded Never Die Alone - The Bleeding Romeo MUST Die Backstage Beyond the Law Lockjaw - Rise of the Kulev Serpent and Fast and Fierce Death Race.
